How It Works

Short visits only work when caregivers are close enough and available at the right time. The platform is designed to collect the details that matter: where you are, when you are free, how far you want to travel, and what type of care you can safely provide.

1. Create a caregiver profile with contact information, city, ZIP code, skills, experience, languages, and preferred work areas.
2. Post available work windows, including 1-hour visits, 2-3 hour blocks, after-work hours, weekend pockets, overnight care, and longer shifts.
3. Tell us if you can work near home, near your current job, or near a place you will already be on a specific day.
4. Build your training and readiness profile inside the caregiver portal as the knowledgebase grows.
5. Track readiness items such as HCA Registry status, TB clearance, Live Scan/background status, and work authorization workflow.
6. Receive nearby care opportunities when family requests match location, schedule, skills, and admin review requirements.

Why the app matters

Eventually, caregivers should update availability from their phone.

The website portal is the first step. The long-term goal is an iPhone and Android experience where caregivers can quickly update location-based availability, review nearby opportunities, complete short training, and stay connected to the office.

Families may be able to discover caregiver availability by area and schedule, but matches should go through My Family Golden Years so quality, privacy, compliance, and care fit are reviewed first.
